By purchasing from Dotware.com.bd, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming any purchase or warranty claim.


1. 📦 Warranty Policy

  • We follow the warranty policies issued by International and Domestic authorities, including Bangladesh ECAB and specific product brands.
  • Not all products come with a warranty. Warranty is only applicable if clearly mentioned on the invoice or bill.
  • For products with warranty coverage, services will be provided as per the manufacturer’s policy.

2. 🔍 Product Inspection Before Unboxing

  • Customers must verify the product's model, color, size, and specifications before unboxing.
  • Once the product is unboxed, the transaction is considered final.
  • Any order cancellation after unboxing will not be accepted.
  • If the customer wishes to cancel before unboxing, a 20% cancellation fee of the product price will be charged.

3. ⚙️ Product Modification Disclaimer

  • If a customer modifies, upgrades, or alters the product (e.g., adding RAM, SSD, or unlocking firmware), any resulting damage is the customer’s responsibility.
  • Warranty is void if physical or internal damage occurs due to modification.

4. 🔧 Repair, Replacement, and Depreciation Policy

  • If a warranty-covered defect is found right after the sale, we will:
    • Repair the defect (if possible), or
    • Replace the item (if unrepairable), depending on stock availability.
  • If an identical or equivalent product is unavailable, we may provide a depreciated-value replacement with price adjustment.
  • Damage occurring outside our store and not covered by warranty is the customer's responsibility.

5. 🧾 Warranty Validation Rules

Warranty claims will be rejected if:

  • The product sticker/serial number is tampered or removed.
  • Any permanent ink or marking is written on the product.
  • Password locks or security codes are lost or unknown.
  • Cables/accessories are damaged, even if the main product has a valid warranty.
  • Laptop screens with 1–3 dots are not eligible for warranty (must be 4+ dots).
  • The warranty card/receipt is lost, unless the customer can provide sufficient proof of purchase.

6. 🛠️ Service Duration & Limitations

  • Repair timelines vary depending on product type and part availability. Typical time: 5 to 40 working days.
  • For import-dependent parts, delays may occur.
  • In case of force majeure (e.g., global pandemic, political unrest, flight ban), we will attempt to repair the product locally, even at our own cost, which may require 2–3 months depending on parts availability.

7. 💻 Software & Data Disclaimer

  • Dotware.com.bd is not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or software issues during service or product use.
  • We do not offer free data recovery or OS restoration as part of warranty service.
  • Any OS or software customizations done by the user are not covered under warranty.

8. 🔐 Password & Security Codes

  • Dotware.com.bd does not set any password or lock during product delivery.
  • All password-related issues are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not covered under warranty.

9. 💰 Non-Warranty Service Charges

  • Any service not covered by warranty will be subject to charges, which will be discussed and confirmed in advance with the customer.

  • By purchasing or using any of our products or services, you agree to comply with all terms mentioned above.
